Wanted For My Cousin's Murder Brenton Tyler Spaulding's father, Brian David Spaulding, contacted at least one witness after Erik's death and stated that the witness should not contact the police to tell the police that Brenton admitted he killed my cousin Erik. Others are known participants in the kidnapping, torture, and murder of Erik, and in the subsequent obstruction of justice and destruction of evidence. Their identities have been known since 1983. Not a single arrest.
